SMECO (Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative) is a member-owned electric cooperative serving Charles County and surrounding areas. Contact SMECO to start service. Unlike investor-owned utilities, SMECO distributes capital credits back to members annually.

Before You Move In — Your Utility Setup Checklist
